Priest in Charge:     The Revd Joanna Abecassis
Assistant Curate:    The Revd Philip Elliott
Joanna first shared her vision for the ‘Holy Trinity has a Vision’ project (as endorsed by the PCC) at the APCM in April 2011 (see Parish News for May 2011).  This was to be a totally collaborative and inclusive opportunity whereby the church family could ‘dream dreams’ as to where, before God, we might be travelling.
Since then, eight groups consisting of members of the congregation with interests in particular aspects of the life of the church have been meeting and discussing and exploring those issues. The groups then each produced a report the conclusions and recommendations of which were presented to the church community in Holy Trinity on Saturday, 21st January, 2012.
The Vision focus groups had previously ‘set out their stalls’ at various locations round the church and, following a series of five-minute  presentations by the focus-group leaders or their deputies, we were able to help ourselves to a generous lunch provided by various members of the church and then visit the stalls to inspect the displays and ask questions.
The next stage was for the PCC to discuss the proposals from the focus groups in detail at an Away-Day on March 3rd, 2012, and decide on a programme of implementation. So now we can say that Holy Trinity has a Vision which can be read here.
