Holy Trinity Vision Group reports.

Priest in Charge:       The Revd Joanna Abecassis

Assistant Curate:         The Revd Philip Elliott

Holy Trinity is a thriving and welcoming Parish Church in the inclusive and liberal modern catholic tradition.  We are always seeking to be open to God and to grow in our personal faith and as a church community: so we are on a journey!  And that journey began a very long time ago; the current church building has existed since 1150 and has an active membership today of approaching 200. We are part of the Church of England within the worldwide Anglican Communion under the Diocese of Salisbury.
A brief history of the church by Anne Willis gives interesting insights into the place of the church in the community.

Locally we are part of the Bradford Group Ministry and members of the Bradford Area Churches Together. We also hold services in the Saxon Church of St Laurence, adjacent to Holy Trinity, and in
St Mary, Tory, a former pilgrim chapel on the hill (tor) to the north-west of the church.

The present parish of Holy Trinity will, in 2013, be combined with the benefice of Westwood and Wingfield and the Revd Joanna Abecassis is the Rector Designate of the new benefice. The Pastoral scheme for this unification can be read here.

Mothers' Union is open to all confirmed members of the Church of England who support family life, and it meets on the third Thursday of each month in the evening at Cedar Court in Berryfield Road.

Our local comprehensive school, St Laurence, is a Christian foundation to which we nominate two governors.

The Friends of Holy Trinity is a social and support group – a registered charity – which is for anyone in the community who is interested in supporting our heritage at Holy Trinity.
